Greene is finding the Freedom Caucus doesn't have the pull and power it used to have. Congress is about fed up with the antics preventing them from doing their work while the sideshow takes center stage and everything gets put on hold while the latest antics work themselves out. Guess they gonna have to make free bread, the circus has about run it's course.

The Freedom Caucus has achieved one thing, dropping the power of the party as congress critters decide to leave politics, near eliminating the once advantage they had in having the majority.

We've been through homelessness before. It was called Hoovervilles, where folks made shanties out of any material they could scrounge to protect themselves from the weather when the economy got so bad no one could find a job or afford a place to stay. It seems we are once again on the doorstep of such with people living in their vehicles before those vehicles crater, giving them no place to go but the streets. Often those with vehicles also hold jobs, they just don't pay enough to make the cost of living.

The cost of living is too dang high. People are making choices between paying the rent, buying food, paying for the utilities, or paying for the high cost of medicines, to keep them alive. Homelessness is a sign our society is crumbling as we watch and many are just one emergency away from being homeless themselves. When people worry about having a mere $400 set aside for that emergency you know they are on the edge of being homeless themselves.

Renewable resources aren't much of a problem, you can grow/make new more of it. However non-renewable is a different matter, once gone, they don't come back. We face a problem among the many. Those non-renewables are among our most valuable and often irreplaceable elements and materials. They are also highly valued for the use in space. We have sort of deadlines, one for climate change and another for actually making it out of LEO. Some of those non-renewables are in the asteroids. The question is, can we get to them to mine them before we run out of those non-renewables, forever locking us on to this planet, waiting for the inevitable killer asteroid?

Putting up barriers to that effort isn't helping. Musk's trashing LEO should be cause to call him to remove his orbital trash before one of the sinks his attempt to send people to Mars. Already the ISS has to often change to get out of the way of traveling debris, left behind by various countries such as Russia testing the destroying of satellites or China, who seems not to care at all. I guess it will take one of these launches going off course and impacting a major city to get the attention of the world to it's hazards, beyond those actually interested in it today. It's a sad comment on money being more important than survival.
